When Celene Tinnon attended
a Pondering Pregnancy class
and met Dr. Robin Virgin,
she knew she had met her
Dr. Right. Tinnon says she was sold after the
tour of the Family Birth Center and hearing
about Dr. Virgin’s own personal birthing
experience. “Dr. Virgin seemed really open and
friendly,” she says.
Tinnon planned a natural birth using the birth
center’s amenities—birthing ball; whirlpool
tub; and single room for labor, delivery and
postpartum. “When it came to the final pushing
phase, Dr. Virgin was there, and the whole room
just felt so serene and calm.”
Dr. Virgin “is a family physician and is now
our daughter’s doctor, as well our primary
care doctor,” Tinnon says. “It’s really nice
to have one person who knows your whole
family and history.”
